Alexa Chavez

Alexa Chavez is an attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP and focuses her practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout California. Alexa is committed to holding individuals, businesses, and government entities accountable to her clients and obtaining the best results possible.

Before working at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, Alexa clerked at the Department of Justice and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. Later, she was a congressional intern for Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California’s 32nd district.

Alexa received her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, SCALE 2-year program. During those 2 years, she was awarded a Dean’s Merit and a Wildman Schumacher scholarship for academic excellence. Alexa was an advocate on the Trial Advocate Honors Program, where she won the national All-Star Mock Trial competition and was recognized as an Outstanding Advocate. Upon graduating, Alexa participated in the American Board of Trial Advocates’ fellowship program and was nominated by the dean of Southwestern Law School as the 2022 recipient of ABOTA’s Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice award.

A native Angelino, Alexa is fluent in Spanish and close to her Mexican and Central American roots. She is a member of the Mexican American Bar Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature or traveling to explore new foods and new sights.
